The AskService.exe process is a part of the Ask Toolbar. It was once reported consume huge amounts of resources
Recommendation:
The AskService.exe process is not an essential file to the computer system. You can safely remove it if you don't want Ask Toolbar to take much resources.

Seems to be part of the ZoneAlarm Spy Blocker toolbar. I trust ZoneAlarm so I allow it to run. But I know nothing about it.
