AvastSvc.exe

The AvastSvc.exe is a core process of Avast Antivirus or Internet Security software in the background. It provides realtime protection of your computer against viruses you might download, on web pages, or coming through email.  It also manages the automatic updating of Avast software with the latest antivirus & security datas. It is responsible for running scheduled virus scanning jobs.

Recommendation:

The AvastSvc.exe file is not a system process, but it is a part of Avast Antivirus or Internet Security software, which is used to protect your computer against Internet threats. It is not recommended to be disabled or removed.
