The CFD.exe process is with the full name of BroadJump Foundation Client from BroadJump.com. The BroadJump Foundation Client is a part of troubleshooting software from Motive Communications. It is used to diagnose problems when attempting to install a new broadband connection to the internet.
Recommendation:
The CFD.exe process is not system critical file. But it is required by broadband provider to offer easy installation and ongoing services to your computer. If you do not use broadband, or your broadband connection is configured and working, it is not needed and so can be uninstalled. Otherwise, it is recommended not to be disabled/removed.
