This is a free taskbar item that connects you to the Weather Channel. In reduced form it displays only the local temperature. In full screen mode it displays user-selectable information and a number of ads.
The only down side is that it uses almost 2 MB of memory even when it\'s just sitting there. Consider whether the convenience is worth the overhead.
