The FSService.exe process is a main executable file of Folder Shield. which is used for concealing any directories under Windows 9x/ME/NT/2K, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7, completely and securely. Then, your personal documents, private photographs etc. are invisible, and no longer accessible, as soon as the relevant folders have been hidden with Folder Shield.
Recommendation:
The FSService.exe process is a non-essential file to system performance. Disabling it or enabling it is down to user's preferences.
