GoogleToolbarNotifier.exe

The GoogleToolbarNotifier.exe process is a part of Google ToolBar service for Internet Explorer. It is responsible to notify users when thay attempt to change the Internet Explorer search engine to something other than Google, or when another program tries to change any of the Google toolbar settings and asks for your permission. It can also connect to Google's servers and detect new updates available to to the Google Notifier.

Recommendation:

The GoogleToolbarNotifier.exe process is a non-essential process to system performance. Disabling it or enabling it is down to user's options.

matt cochran		it makes sure your home page,search engine stays unhacked. its not needed but if u stop it every time you start your browser you will get a nag screen from google which is beyond frustrating. ive heard using it could be a potential security breach,though very small  More information 0 0 Report Abuse
BonesXXX		I\'ve tried everything to stop it...what is it even? Every process monitor I have (windows task man., Glary Utilities, revo Uninstaller) try to block it, but it keeps coming back...anyone know? I\'ve uninstalled google updater and google desktop...help 0 0 Report Abuse
