The MediaAgent.exe process is an executable file of the the OpenCASE Media Agent from ExtendMedia Inc, which is an optional client-side component providing support for local rights persistence, advanced download functionality and device management.
Recommendation:
The MediaAgent.exe process is not an essential file to the computer system. Disabling it or enabling it depends on the whether you use OpenCASE Media Agent or not.

Major problems with the application. Used 50M of memory and used a lot of internet bandwidth. I would not install this application.

This program is part of NBC\'s service true, but it also maxes out your tcp connections wreaking havoc on your machine and network. Avoid.
