The MemeoBackup.exe process is an executable file of the Memeo AutoBackup application, which is used to backup to external hard drives, another computer on your network, Memeo iDisk Online Storage, USB storage devices, or your iPod simultaneously.
Recommendation:
The MemeoBackup.exe process is not an essential file to the system performance. Disabling it or enabling it depends on whether you would like to use Memeo AutoBackup or not.

This software is bundled with a range of external harddrives but I don't recommend to use it as it takes up a lot of system resources and slows the computer down!

This comes with WD \'My Book\" external hard drives. Once you install Memeo products, you can\'t uninstall them and their \'support people\' are idiots. The Memeo doesn\'t show up in Add/Remove in Control Panel and there is not an \'uninstall\' link. The only thing I found is to rename it so it doesn\'t start up with Windows. Memeo sucks big time.
