Proxomitron is a powerful proxy server that can block much of the unwanted and dangerous content that unscrupulous and misguided webmasters would otherwise push onto your system. It allows a very fine grained customization of what appears on the web page. Unwanted headers can be changed or eliminated. Annoying javascripts can be rewritten on the fly to perform useful work.
