Yeah Task Manager used to be good, but it seemed to been forgotten about. Anyway just use Process Explorer.

Not necessary to have running unless you\'re system is prone to freezing and crashing. Some spyware take advantage of preventing access to task manager, so it\'s best to have a security suite if you have a problem getting into task manager during one of those times.
