The WLIDSVC.EXE process is a part of the Microsoft Windows Live ID, which is a single sign-on service developed and provided by Microsoft that allows users to log in to many websites using one account.
The WLIDSVC.EXE process is not an essential file to the computer system performance. Disabling it or enabling it depends on whether you use Windows Live ID or not.
