ctfmon.exe

The ctfmon.exe is a process belonging to Microsoft office suite. It monitors active windows and provides text input service support for speech recognition, handwriting recognition, keyboard translation and other alternative input methods. This process will continue to put itself back into MSConfig when you run the Office XP apps as long as the Text Services and Speech applets in the Control Panel are enabled. 

Recommendation:

This program is a non-essential system process, but should not be terminated unless suspected to be causing problems.

windowBlind		yet another example of a microsoft file that has background uses but can be exploited by nasties.
