The firefox.exe is a main process of the Mozilla Internet browsing suite, which is an browsing application. This file is considered safe and is not virus, adware, or spyware related.

Recommendation:

The firefox.exe is not a critical component. But it is not recommended to be disabled or removed if you want to use firefox to browse websites properly.
