hkcmd.exe

The hkcmd.exe process is a part of the Intel's "extreme" grahics hot key interceptor. It is installed with the Intel graphics and chipset drivers and provides support for various hotkeys to allow you to quickly change the graphics settings.

Recommendation:

The hkcmd.exe process is not an essential file to the computer performance. Disabling it or enabling it is down to the user's options.  If you do not need it, you can disable it by opening the display properties control panel and disabling hotkeys.
