The iPodService.exe process is an executable file for iPod Hardware Management Services, which is installed alongside with Apple's iTunes music playing and organizing software. This service is used by iTunes itself to communicate with connected iPods.
Recommendation:
The iPodService.exe process is not a system critical component. But it is required by Apple iTunes to work properly. If you don't own an iPod you can disable this service via Administrative Tools | Services and save a few megabytes of memory. If you use iPod, you should never remove it.

Fine if you use an Ipod but if you don\'t use a Ipod disable it to free up resources.
