The sgmain.exe process is an executable file of the SpywareGuard Internet Security Utility. which provides realtime protection to your computer system against Internet threats and virus attacks.

Recommendation:

The sgmain.exe process is not an essential file to the computer performance. It is a security program. If you do not use any other security program, then you should leave this process running to protect your computer.

Michael		Until more information is known, I recommend removing program. I was running MRU Blaster, ID Blaster and Spyware Blaster on my device. The moment I installed SpywareGuard (which includes sgmain.exe) none of the applications work. I have had to uninstall far too many applications because of this program, so I would classify it as either malicious software or extremely poorly designed software that was created with good intentions but not tested by capable individuals. 0 0 Report Abuse
