snmp.exe

The snmp.exe process is an executable file of the SNMP Service (Simple Network Management Protocol), which is Microsoft Simple Network Management Protocol Agent and can be used on domains and corporate networks to keep track of the computers on the network. It also allows you to configure and manage SNMP-compliant equipment on the network. It responds to SNMP requests, collects the required information and data, and then passes them on to the requester. 

Recommendation:

The snmp.exe process is not essential file to the computer performance. But it is necessary if you are on a domain or corporate network. So, disabling or enabling this process is down to the user's needs.

juro		SNMP is a protocol for remotely administrating a computer\'s network behavior. Unless your computer is being remotely administrated, there is no reason to have this agent running.
