speedfan.exe

The speedfan.exe process is an executable file of the SpeedFan application from Almico Software. The application is used to monitor fan speeds, temperatures and voltages in computers with hardware monitoring chips.

Recommendation:

The speedfan.exe process is not an essential file to the computer performance. Disabling it or enabling it is down to the user's options.

Speedfan is a program that monitors and controls your computer fans speeds to keep a desired temperature on your processor(s), hard drives, etc. If you haven\'t installed this program then probably someone else did or at least it could be a virus or something.
