The urlmap.exe process is an executable file of the Microsoft Money URL Map, which is used in conjunction with Internet Explorer to display a side-bar of finance related links while you are surfing the internet. It can monitor the web pages you visit and if you come to a page with financial information that may be relevant to the sort of personal financial information you keep in Microsoft Money, and then bring up the MoneySide toolbar so as to enable you to access, from within Internet Explorer, data that you keep in Microsoft Money.
