Let me clarify. The LSA Shell (Export Version) is a necessary Microsoft process. I have been looking all over because I keep getting mixed signals everywhere until finally a couple of websites mentioned that the virus is called lsasss.exe Notice the third "s".

Without it,your system will not run. Malware attacks its vulnerabilities, which is why everyone thinks it's malware. Scanners only display lsass.exe being infected, but it's a thread inside the process that's the malware.
