can block with third party fierwall;and then un block once in awile for it to check for its updates,if using real player sp free and you check for updates manuley thay push there paid upgrade try product on you,if you install the wong update you end up with the paid ver and will have earther have to pay for it or un install real player and re install free ver agen you can opt to save player settings and deretory when un installing if you plan to re install it agen.  More information

This is junk. Realplayer should understand that users do not like programs \"phoning home\" many times a day. Disabling has no effect, but it will reinstall itself at the first opportunity. I wish we didn\'t need Real - but they\'ve done a good job of making it so that it is still necessary.... I\'ve never had good luck with the \'Real Alternatives\'....
